JFS is a provider of human service and social services that help neighbors connect with the greater community and available resources. We educate neighbors about services that they may not be aware of and provide support. Our Friendly Visitor Program provides meaningful services to neighbors in the community who are seniors or people with disabilities, these services include and are not limited to: rides to appointments or events, shopping, friendly home visits or other types of personalized services.
JFS was established in 1984 and relies on several partnerships to complete its mission. Our dedicated and compassionate volunteers are invaluable and are the backbone of the agency. Our core values inspire each of us to continue to do the work we do:
