For children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, we provide a program designed to offer recreational, educational, and social opportunities.
This program is offered at a nominal fee.
We hold a therapeutic day camp that offers children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (from age six through transitional age) a variety of intellectually stimulating, challenging, and creative activities designed to strengthen social skills, create friendships, and build self-confidence. Staff includes special education teachers, a registered nurse, and trained adult aides who are able to provide support and assistance that enrich the camp experience. The camp is in session while most other summer programs are not operating (for two weeks at the end of the summer). Partial scholarships will be available for families otherwise unable to cover the cost of attendance fees. There is an activity fee for the children that is not included in this scholarship.
