"The Friendly Visitor gave me a chance to come out of my shell." Paul M.

Paul had suffered an injury and the loss of his wife when he called JFS. He was also new to the area. We connected him with a Friendly Visitor and they formed a strong bond. The Friendly Visitor's caring made all the difference to Paul.

Would you consider volunteering? We need people to help with home visits, telephone reassurance calls, grocery shopping, transport to medical appointments, light household chores, and clerical tasks for older adults.

We're also looking for assistance with special events and office work.
