Senior Independence Program

Our Senior Independence Program matches local volunteers with older adults in order to help them continue living independently and offer simple gestures that help them feel cared for. From providing a ride to the doctor, helping with light household chores, offering assistance with grocery shopping, or just stopping by for a friendly visit, our volunteers help individuals be more connected to their communities and have the help they need to continue living in their home. Additionally, this service provides care givers a needed respite, so that they are not alone in the responsibility of caring for a loved one. Family members who are far away often feel a tremendous sense of relief knowing that the Senior Independence Program is here, offering support.
